Defining a new chapter for a community-powered healthcare platform from mission to brand expression
Eureka is a digital platform looking to change the way healthcare works. Using a people-to-people health tracking app, underpinned by cutting-edge Science, Eureka helps anyone facing chronic health issues left unresolved by the system to take control of their health through the power of community shared knowledge. It’s more than an app — it’s a movement to build a chronic condition knowledge hub.
Our task was to evolve the brand for its’ next era of growth. The first step was to define a powerful mission at the heart of the company: ‘to accelerate every human’s pursuit of better health’. This sets the long-term north-star for the company, all its users and stakeholders. Naturally, the strategy informed the full experience and expression to create a warm, empowering brand that balances human experiences with data, embracing the exploratory and empowering journey to better health.
After understanding the founders’ first-hand experiences with chronic illness, as well as diving deep into the care process for patients, we went on a discovery journey through creative territories and prototyping. The result is a brand that balances both sides of the human brain — a creative empath with the curiosity and expertise of a scientist.
The evolved system uses a fresh colour palette, subtle gradients paired with an elegant and humane typeface. The result is an ever-evolving brand that grows with community engagement and knowledge. We translated this expression into a comprehensive toolkit to work effectively with iconography and illustrations across everything from app-screens and website to social platforms and billboards. Each touchpoint evokes the empowering tone and spirit of the Eureka mission.
